Contagious history

Contagious history

Contagious was set up in 2000 by Ian Fry, Trevor Pearce and Pete Woodcock.

Starting small, Contagious met in Gloucestershire, as a group of 14-19 year-olds enjoyed a fun-packed week studying God’s Word. Since then Contagious, under God, has moved sites and grown significantly.

In 2010, Contagious Nano for 11 -13 year olds and Contagious West were established.

In August 2012, Jon Shulver was appointed Contagious Development Director and Contagious Scotland was held for the first time.

In the summer of 2014, Nano West was launched. Over 700 people attended our conferences in 2014.

In 2016, Nick Jackman took over as Contagious Director and in 2017, we added Contagious Central.

There are now almost 1,000 young people and leaders across the 4 conferences…

to God be the glory!
